Feature and Follow #3

Feature and Follow is a weekly feature hosted by TWO hosts: Alison from Alison Can Read and Parajunkee from Parajunkee's View. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way they will be able to show off more new blogs.

Rules:
1.) (REQUIRED) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts
2.) (REQUIRED) Follow the Featured Bloggers
3.) Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to put it in your post.
4.) Grab the button and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say ''hi'' and that they are now following you.
5.) If you are using Wordpress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friend Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed.
6.) Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also don't just follow, comment and say ''hi''. Another blogger might not know you're a new follower if you don't say ''HI".
7.) If someone comments and say they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers.
8.) If you're new to the Follow Friday hop, comment and let the hosts know so they can check out your blog.

This weeks question is: "Have you ever read a book you thought you'd hate but loved? Or vice versa?"

That's kind of a difficult question for me to answer. Mainly because I wind up loving almost every book I read, and I don't like to say that I ''hate'' a book. Before I make any judgement on a book I'll read it and give it a fair chance. Most books I'll read more than once, but I wasn't able to do that with Twilight. I had seen where everyone was flipping out about what a good book series it was, so I thought I would read it and went out and bought the whole series. I finished the books but it took me a lot longer than normal. I'm not saying that the books were horrible but they just weren't my cup of tea.

What about you? Do we have the same book in common or do you have a different opinion about the book I chose?

I put these three down because I'll let you decide how you would like to follow my blog, whatever is more convenient for you.

  1. I "try" to be open minded about what I read, but I don't think I'll ever give Twilight a chance. It's just not worth my time when I have better books to read.

  2. I've read the Twilight books multiple times. They're what got me back into reading, so that series will always be special to me.

    1. Maybe, since it's been a while since I've read the books, I ought to give it another try and see if my opinions have changed. Thank you for stopping by Stina!

  3. I really enjoyed Twilight, but that's because I was read it when I was fourteen, as soon as it was published in England. And then everyone else started loving it, and I started hating it. So I'm with you on the whole Twilight thing.

    1. Thanks for following, Beth. I liked the movies better than I did the books, normally I like books better.

    1. I didn't think it was horrible but I just couldn't get into it. I love vamps and werewolves but this book just wasn't for me. I suggest giving it a try, maybe it will speak something to you that I just failed to get. Thank you for stopping by and following Ronyell.

    1. You're welcome Jess, and thank you for stopping by here. I just feel obligated to be fair, I mean, if it was a book I wrote I would want other people to be the same way that we're trying to be.

    1. I'm pretty well the same way. I'd like to think that I'm just that good at picking out what to read, but I think I'm just easy to please to when it comes to books. Thanks for stopping by Georgia May and for following.

  7. I love most of the books that I read, too. I didn’t like Twilight, though. Edward was too creepy for me.

  8. I loved Twilight the first time around, but the second time around.. no! They are awful, but I'll still always keep them on my favorites shelf because it's one of those series I love to hate. (:

  9. I watched Twilight-the movie and that is the reason that I don't read the book, I like the movie so much, so I'm afraid that I'll hate the book.

    1. If I remember right, the movie is almost spot on with the book. Did you notice Stephenie Meyers' s cameo in the movie? Thank You for stopping by.
