This weeks question:
Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? If so, what was it?

My Answer:

Yes, I had this dream or nightmare probably 4 times as a kid. When I was little I was obsessed with the movie ''The Wizard of Oz'' and watched it at least once a day. Well my dream/nightmare starts off with me walking up the hill close to my house and I'm dressed like Dorothy. I pass by a house that a friend used to live in until the family moved and the Wicked Witch is on the roof throwing rotten apples at me, just like what happens to Dorothy in the movie. The Wicked Witch has the flying monkeys with her and they are all jumping up and down, pointing at me, as I keeping getting hit with the apples, trying hard to escape. No matter how hard I run, I'm not getting anywhere. I can't move a single inch. Then the house bursts into flames and the Wicked Witch is just in front of my face. She gives me the most evil looking grin with the nastiest teeth in her mouth. They are all sharpened into jagged points and black with rot. That's usually the spot where I would wake up. I've not been able to watch the movie since then, which is sad because it really is a good movie.

Do you have any reoccurring dreams? If so, what are they?

    1. Thank you for the follow Shannon! I've yet to let my kids watch it. I'm waiting until they get older, that way maybe no nightmares.

    1. Thank you for the comment and follow Tishia. Most of my dreams I can never remember either but that one has stuck with me since the first time I had it. Luckily I've only had it about 4 times and its been a really long time since I have it too.

  5. I recently rewatched The Wizard of Oz. Like you, I watched it nearly every day. Little Mermaid, Bambi, Turner and Hooch and Milo and Otis were among my dailies. It was so bad my mom taught me how to use the VCR so I could just rewind and watch again so she could go to bed! I broke two of those tapes watching so much...anyway, I don't remember some of the things happening in The Wizard of Oz as it did. I would not want to have your dream!

    1. In the movie the monkeys weren't there at that time, I don't think anyway, and she might have been throwing fire balls or something like that at Scarecrow but in my dream it was apples aimed at me. I loved Bambi, Little Mermaid and Milo and Otis. I still have my original VHS tapes. At one point in time I had my bedroom done in Ariel. I never really watched Turner and Hooch. Thank you for the comment and stopping by.

  11. Yeah that is a creepy dream. You know, for such an old, outdated film, it's amazing how disturbing the witch and those flying monkeys are. I feel ya. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Happy Easter! Now following you via GFC, Bloglovin' and G+.

    1. Happy Easter to you too! Thank You for the follows. Yeah they are especially when you see what really happens in the background of the scene where the witch is on the house. I think that could have been what started the nightmare.
