Feature and Follow #11

Feature and Follow is a weekly feature hosted by TWO hosts: Alison from Alison Can Read and Parajunkee from Parajunkee's View. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way they will be able to show off more new blogs.

Rules:
1.) (REQUIRED) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts
2.) (REQUIRED) Follow the Featured Bloggers
3.) Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to put it in your post.
4.) Grab the button and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say ''hi'' and that they are now following you.
5.) If you are using Wordpress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friend Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed.
6.) Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also don't just follow, comment and say ''hi''. Another blogger might not know you're a new follower if you don't say ''HI".
7.) If someone comments and say they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers.
8.) If you're new to the Follow Friday hop, comment and let the hosts know so they can check out your blog.

This weeks question:

Is there a book that you were required to read in school that you actually loved?

Answer:

The Lord of the Flies was the only book I was required to read in high school and I thought it was a really good book.

What was a book that you were required to read in school and ended up loving?

  2. I remember a lot of people saying this in my high school too. Sadly, that one wasn't among my faves. Hardly any were really. I was surprised when I actually liked one during my senior year! ;)

  3. I'm so thankful I didn't have to read that one! I got really sick about the time we were reading it and was homebound for a few weeks so my teacher gave me a different assignment. That was the best part about being sick that year ;)

  7. You were only required to read one book in high school? We always had a new reading unit and a new book that we had to read. Very few of them I actually liked and read.

I've never read Lord of the Flies, though.

    1. Yeah, we would only have a Reading and English class for half of the year and honestly we didn't do much of anything. We mainly focused on grammar. We would read those little tiny stories that were in the English text books but the only novel we were ever made to read was Lord of the Flies. Thanks for stopping by Stina

  8. Hopping through. I never read Lord of the Flies. I should read it some day since it's such an essential book for many.
